It’s that time of year again… Hammond Heartland Days! Boondoggle returns to it’s Sunday afternoon slot, following the parade around 2pm until 6pm. Plenty of beer, food, and softball for all, and possibly an opening set from the world famous Polkabusters.

We’re down a man for Sunday, so if you want to join Boondoggle for a song or two… don’t be shy!

Hey, Boondoggle is spending our summer recording some demos, but we still have some appearances coming up. July 17th at the Waverly Bar, and, of course, Sunday afternoon at Hammond Days August 15th. We’ll also be around for a couple private parties and weddings.

Got an event that needs a splash of Boondoggle? Drop us a line and we’ll be there!

Boondoggle will be playing at the National Night Out event taking place at the St. Paul Eastside Boy’s And Girl’s Club on Tuesday August 4th. We will be starting around 4 or 5 pm and playing until 8pm. There will be food and pop and some special guests!

Hey! June has been pretty quiet around here, but we will start turning it up in July.

First off, is the 7th annual Bike Show at St. Croix Harley Davidson on Saturday July 12th. Just a little north of New Richmond on Hwy 65 toward Star Prairie. We play from noon to 3pm, so come out and check out the bikes.

On the 19th, we will be at the ever-happening Waverly Bar starting at 9pm. East of Ellsworth and south of Spring Valley near the intersection of Hwy 72 and Cty CC.

And don’t forget, in August we will be seeing you all at Hammond Heartland Days down at the park after the parade on Sunday, August 10th.

There is still some work to be done around here, so don’t mind the mess. As the A-Team’s Hannibal would say, “I love it when a plan comes together.” Then he would grip his cigar with his teeth and club someone in the back with a crowbar. We are all about the A-Team here.

Anyways…. we have a lot coming up soon. Be sure to check out our big tent show on Friday May 30th at the park for Roberts Good Neighbor Days. And then check us out after the parade outside L&M’s on Sunday. And anyone needing a quality fake cave/bar experience, come on out to the Hersey Cave Bar on Saturday May 24th.

Hopefully soon we are going to have all kinds of pictures and other fun stuff. Jim will certainly show off his creative writing abilities here. And until then, for no other apparent reason….
